The RANGER is a thread-mounting silencer for 5.56mm rifles and machine guns. Designed for operational scenarios which call for a light-weight, compact silencer, the RANGER delivers outstanding sound suppression under the most demanding all-weather conditions. Unlike competing designs which feature carbon steel components bonded together with adhesives, the RANGER is constructed of welded 300 series stainless steel and Inconel. The CAD-designed, CNC-machined RANGER reduces the weapon's sound and flash signatures well below the pain threshold and the European risk limit for hearing damage while significantly reducing felt recoil. The impression when firing a RANGER equipped M4 carbine is that of a .22 caliber rifle firing shorts. Tactical users will appreciate the RANGER's flyweight (18 oz) and compact design (1.5" OD x 6.00" OAL) which adds only 4.4" to the overall length of the host firearm. The RANGER can be configured with threads to mount on the Colt series of assault rifles, the Ruger AC-556, and Steyr AUG.
